I don’t care that I’m a guy, and I love lip gloss. For me personally, I’m not into really anything that looks artificial. I like to go with an amplified natural look, so these are my top fave lip glosses. No, This is not sponsored content *I wish it were, though* I really go up for these certain lip products. Let’s start.
Fenty On Beauty.
Fenty of beauty made waves in the makeup industry Industry, but she made a super impactful wave in the lipgloss market. Fenty beauties lush formula honestly makes your lips look like an elevated version of themselves. When these glosses first came out, I went through about three of them in a month. That’s how good they are, and they come in so many shades and colors. Any lip gloss connoisseur knows all glosses aren’t made equal. Every lip gloss shines differently. Her formula is the equivalent of leaving an addict in the same room as their substance of addiction—gloss rating: 10/10.
My fave shade is the universal shad as well as fu$$y.
Juice Infused Lip Oils
So if you’re not trying to spend Fenty Beauty money, Ulta has these juicy fruit oils that are between 8-10 dollars on a good day. When I got these, the application is a little useful and a bit sticky, but they get the job done. They also come in many flavors like rose, coconut, peach, strawberry, etc. the only thing is you can use a tube up in about 10-12 days. Since they are reasonably priced and always on sale, I guess you get what you pay for. But it gets the job done Gloss rating: 7/10.
C.O Big For The Low.
So C.O Bigelow has Lipglosses that I’ve tried, and I’m not gonna lie if your breath is a Lil kick this one for you ☠️. Their lip glosses are menthol based meaning there is a strong mint finish and after taste, which honestly is a great selling point because people’s breath is HOT ASF, not mine, but you know the publics. But the shine is sublime and makes your lips look like freshly deep-fried glazed hot now doughnuts from Krispy Kreme. Gloss rating: 9/10.
Next Up Broadway….No Junction.
When it comes to Beauty Supply lipgloss, we all know it’s very hit or miss……as f*ck. It can be too goopy, not goopy enough; it can crust or application can be terrible, the packaging can fall apart easily/ many other mishaps can happen. But when it comes to Beauty supply cult favorites, pretty much any lip gloss under the Broadway companies umbrella is a when especially their lip oil lip glosses. They come in various flavors like mint, mango butter, argan oil, rosehip, shea butter, vitamin e, and honey. Ngl, all my HGs have these lip glosses attached to their keyrings, and I’ve tried them myself, and they aren’t too goopy, and the formula is especially soli,d especially for beauty supply lip glosses. They are around 2-3 dollars, and for the price, it’s a win. Gloss rating:10/10
If you’re not into glosses, let’s just chapstick em’ up.
Make it stand out.
Aquaphor is not for the poor.
Aquaphor isn’t for the poor it’s for everyone. No, but seriously if you have cracked dry, severely blistered lips, this is for you; I use this when I run out of the chapstick I initially carry around with myself everywhere. I always keep some handy, mostly when I’m in my apartment. Rating 10/10
Cocoa butter, did I stutter?
Ok, so cocoa butter, I’m guilty of just putting it everywhere all over my face and including my skin. Tbh, I normally use that as my chapstick especially, the little cocoa butter sticks, whether it’s in stick form or chapstick. On top of that, it’s super cheap and affordable, which is a double win to me.
Is it the balm dot com?
Ngl I have a little bit of Glossier that I leftover from when I made a wintertime purchase and ngl. This balm dot com is the bomb, and it’s doing its job. The coconut is my favorite. I am actually really using its basically flavored Aquaphor that I use on my lips and eyes and as a subtle highlighter. The one I have smelled like coconut and ngl is a repeat favorite over here.
